Northern Ireland Violence Continues

Stones being thrown at police protecting mothers escorting their children to a catholic girls' school preceded a Wednesday bomb blast, continuing 3 days of violence in northern Belfast. Some policemen were struck with 1 of them suffering severe injuries.

No parents or children were injured. Claim for the blast came from the protestant red hand defenders. Tuesday night saw 41 police and 2 soldiers injured in rioting.

Profound Evidence of Supermassive Milky Way Black Hole

X-ray flash ... 10 minute delay ... it brightened again ... The time and other evidence provided the following calculation regarding the center of our galaxy:

  • Mass = over two million times that of our Sun
  • Size = 93 million miles across (coincidentally, the same distance from the earth to the sun - go figure)

With this last convincing evidence, it's almost certainly a supermassive black hole. Perhaps, the flare was caused by a comet being sucked violently into the black hole.

However, one caveat. The location for the observation still needs to be confirmed and there's a remote possibility the flare could have been caused by an unknown astronomical phenomena.

Baby Talk

Voice optional is the deal when it comes to baby talk. Studies have shown that babies with good hearing that are exposed to sign language begin babbling -and- sign-babbling at the same time.

Inherent in that observation is the copycat modality by which babies enter into the world, driven by external stimuli to interact in a manner mating to that of the social / parental / cultural milieu which they are raised by.

Eternal Life

We can make every effort to make our existence extend as long as is pleasantly possible, in this, our one and only sure shot at it.

As for where / what "comes after", I don't know, but I see no evidence for god "out there" and if god=nature or nature=all (my choice is the latter as god appears to be a human construction for human-centric notions), our destiny is natural, if our one and only sure existence ends in this dimension.

If that is sleep, I go forth unto that destiny with a comfort that sleep was from which I sprang, and sleep is that to which I return, a reflection of the cycle of our daily existence.

If there is a continued pleasant existence somewhere / somehow, as is the hope of optimists despite its lack of evidence, well, that would be something, wouldn't it? As everything in the macro world is cyclic in this dimension, it would be quite profound if that cyclic nature did not exist in a succeeding dimension.

So, either begin-end is a perpetual state of being or it is a deviation from, or an illusion regarding, the norm with the norm = eternal being on some level.

Evidence leads one to perceive the possibility of an immortal quantum world, not-quite nothing but with physics interacting with our macro dimension in a manner by which we may never be able to comprehend its workings / interaction with our macro dimension and other dimensions, as yet unknown.

If so, if we're a part of that world, then that world is part of us and all that is, a perpetual "being", an eternal "begin" without end, and matter / energy is a "begin-end" phase within that larger picture, multiple dimensions, of all that is, has ever been, or will ever be.

Are there other "begin-end" aspects / dimensions of the quantum world?

Is there an immortal something leveraged off of the immortal quantum world, in some other dimension, with physics dramatically differing from our concepts of matter / energy?

Can a consciousness arise again, in a manner in which an individual, and that candle in the wind, somehow matched to this "begin-end" cycle in this dimension, yet totally apart from what we can perceive from within this dimension?

Don't know. We'll see or we won't see, but in the meanwhile I hope to max out this one sure existence for as long as is pleasantly possible and take comfort in leaving the rest in the area of "what will be, will be".
