use an ancient document full of hate mixed with love to seduce
the gullible ...
and
entrench their religion as the center of control and power ruling
people on earth ...

crusades ...
Witch
burnings ...
Torture
of heretics ...
Religious
wars ...
That
ancient religion?
Yep,
christianity ...
and
that's just a warm-up for what will hundreds of years later
yield ...
a
child culture inspired by child documents of the christian bible
...
Afghanistan's
Taliban
acting
as the underpinning/inspiration for the attack on and the un-"holy
war" upon America ...

Christians
turned to secular rule, after centuries of failure, death, and
destruction in its rule of the western world ...
and
all of the above
+
economic inequality in large parts of the world (not the least
of which is that present in a large number of islamic states)
+
continued deep divisions in ways to approach life stemming from
all of the above

an unfortunately large number of muslims in the east to support
a holy war on the U.S.

At
the same time, Muslims in America and the western world are
diametrically opposed to the attacks / suicides / murders /
un-"holy war" spawned by
eastern
Islamic fundamentalism

the social/cultural/economic envy of many in the east towards
the west, especially towards the icon of the western way of
life located in the United States of America ...

The
fomenters of this violence, indeed, want to spawn an un-"holy
war" between the east and the west, between eastern fundamentalist
islam and all not one with that view ...
So,
in our response to the attack upon America, we must be careful
to rid the earth of the terrorist element while at the same
time leading an effort to help those steeped in ancient hatreds
/ fears / god-soaked lives to
a better, a secular way of life that has been the icon of western
success and survival, 'til now ...

would behoove us to keep all of the above in mind when we are
seduced/pressured to "turn to god", an ancient mindset
which resides at the core of all of the problems iterated above
...

- Historical Hell for Superpowers
The
past has wrought havoc, death, and destruction for superpowers
trying to win this land and its people. All have been spurned
from this region for 500 years.
U.S. military forces and our allies, for all our might, have
not been designed to engage in battle in a mountainous area
filled with tunnels and hideaways offering a plethora of escapes
for snipers and terrorists who by birth-cause-religion-ethnicity-language-culture,
will fight to the death for what they think is right.

for un-"Holy War"
Pakistan
fundamentalist Islam entities have been protesting Pakistan's
decision to support the U.S. for the past few days. The protests
are growing stronger and some have pledged support for the Afghanistan
Taliban clerics' call for an un-"holy war" on the
U.S.

Delaying
or Preventing Diabetic Kidney Failure
Angiotensin
blockers, currently used
to lower blood pressure, may be able to delay or prevent kidney
failure in diabetics, per a recently completed study.
Based
on the study, it is recommended that angiotensin blockers be
used by diabetics who have kidney damage. In the U.S., that
number is almost one-half of the 16 million diabetics. Should
it be taken by all diabetics? That recommendation may be forthcoming
if further study demonstrates a strengthening of the evidence,
as these drugs have few side effects.
Another
type of blood pressure drug, ACE inhibitors, has previously
been shown to be helpful in reducing the chance of kidney failure
only in type 1 (juvenile onset, otherwise referred to as insulin
dependent) diabetics.
